Michael Attenborough will direct Steven Mackintosh and David Morrissey in the European premiere of Neil LaBute's three hander, In a Dark Dark House, which runs at the Almeida from November 20th -January 17th, with press night on November 27th. Jayne Atkinson Joins BLITHE SPIRIT Revival Cast

Variety reports that Jayne Atkinson has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway revival of "Blithe Spirit," Atkinson will play the bride of Everett's character, who is plagued by the ghost of his deceased first wife (Ebersole). Atkinson was last on Broadway in "Enchanted April" in 2003. (more...)

Pittsburgh CLO has announced that 18 local young performers have been chosen to star as the 2008-2009 Pittsburgh CLO Mini Stars. These talented youngsters have appeared in numerous productions for Pittsburgh CLO, the Pittsburgh Opera, the Pittsburgh Playhouse, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater and the Pittsburgh Public Theater. Bernadette Peters to Guest Star on Ugly Betty in January

The LA Times is reporting the scoop this morning that Bernadette Peters will guest star on UGLY BETTY for at least one episode in early 2009 as a "magazine mogul with a mouthful for a name." The episode will be the eleventh of the season and is set to air in January 2009. (more...)

'Patti LuPone at Les Mouches' Released 11/11

The year was 1980, and Patti LuPone was starring as "Evita" on Broadway. She was en route to winning the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and cementing her status as a Broadway star. But there was another Patti LuPone performance taking place -- one that only a comparative handful of people were aware of: Every Saturday night at midnight, for 27 weeks, after performing one of the most demanding roles ever, she made her way to Les Mouches - a legendary nightclub in New York City, to perform a solo concert...This was a one-woman tour de force that -- until now -- only the lucky few who were on hand knew about.
